Hi, New York Tour was excellent, Pam & Greg were both well informed, entertaining and very professional. The only comment we would make is that generally speaking it would have been better if we could have spent more time at places of interest i.e. Liberty Island ( approx. 1 hour), Ellis island (approx 1 hour) and less time on shopping etc. The Hyatt hotel was first rate.
The 3 cities trip was also excellent Oxsana & John,were very helpful & informative. John gave us a lot of advice on local places to go to and the areas to avoid.The individual city guides were very knowledgeable and interesting ( in particular the Quebec Guide!). The company was great and overall we had a wonderful time.

The host or Tour guide makes all the difference for the trip to be wonderful or out of this world experience!
Eliane Delettre is the right person at the right place for the right job. She instantly made us all super excited for the 4 days trip and all passengers on the bus as a team. Her caring and compassionate nature was outstanding in addition to her on board trivia and give away gifts add more fun to the trip.
My daughter Jasia was very impressed by Eliane knowledge on places that we visited and this gave her an insight of what she wants to be in the future.
Words are not enough to EXPRESS our Thanks to Eliane for the marvellous trip we had to New York. We were always on time and stress-free vacation. Our Thanks to Greig our bus driver as well ....the journey was smooth!

Thoroughly enjoyed the New York July 22-25 trip. Pam and Greg were the best. Pam went all out to make us comfortable and Greg how he maneuvred through New York City on the bus I don't know how he did it. I went by myself and within half an hour of sitting on the bus I was talking with the lady beside me and then two other women joined us at dinner and we were together the whole time. So if you are thinking about going by yourself no worry you won't be alone. Definitely recommend this company to anyone and lets get that Boston trip up and running.

We were at the 3 city Tour by Comfort Travel and wanted to write a brief review on our experience.
First off, all the places Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa were very beautiful. I always herd people say it but never had I thought that they were gorgeous to this extent. Photos simply cannot do it justice. Also, the assigned tour guides for each and every city were very very informative. I liked that all of them had been living there for a long time. the historical sites were amazing and the history behind them so rich making the experience very interesting.
The tour guide who was with us at all times, Oksana definitely knew what she was doing. She took very good care of everyone making certain everyone was on the bus before they left. Not once did I feel afraid to be left behind or scared of getting lost. Our bus driver John was a very good driver. He was also patient. Driving around from city to city for hours can be tiring and frustrating but he managed to keep his cool which was impressive. He was the reason we reached every destination in one piece!
Also I would like to emphasize that all these drives are very long. But it is ensured that there are enough bathroom breaks and lunch breaks when the time is right. The bus was comfortable and the hotel was also great. I would definitely reccomend this tour. It is a great way to spend 3 days of your summer :)!

The trip was great. Ellyann was very knowledgeable about the area and told us all sorts of interesting information. She had games and videos to help pass the time while traveling on the bus and was always helping with directions and places to go on our free time. Wayne also was very accommodating and always had a smile and a friendly greeting.
All in all it was a great trip and I would certainly consider Comfort Travel for other bus tours.

My sister (Cathie) and I were on your to New York Tour Jun 24-27 which we enjoyed immensly.
Our tour guide Suzanne was excellent she kept us informed and entertained while on the bus. She also made sure our every need was taken care of she is a very kind and patient lady. Our driver Wayne was superb he drove through New York City like he had lived there all his life . It was very hot when were there and Wayne always had cold water for us.
The hotel (Hyatt) in New Brunswick new Jersey was excellent, to say nothing of the wonderful buffet breakfast we had every morning.
The tour itself was great, a lot of ground covered in a few days. Our first day in New York we picked up a New York guide named Harvey and he certainly was a wealth of imformation.
I would reccommend your travel tours to anyone. I live in Calgary but have a son in Toronto whom we visit a lot and I would not hesitate to take a another tour in the near future including going back to New York .
I would also like to say we met a lot of really nice people on the tour we had a mixture of ages from 18 up .

Our tour hostess "Bini";.........entertaining,receptive,bubbly,courteous,approachable,knowledgeable,and gave
equal attention to everyones needs.
Our driver Keith;........he may look like Kenny Rogers but he certainly did not sing like him.However he was
accomodating, jolly,trustworthy,dependable,as well as a good driver.
As for the future,we were on the New York tour and look foreward to the Ottawa,Montreal,Quebec,tour.

I just want you to know that Carol was awesome, she cares about everyone on the bus and always has our interest at heart all the time. Everyone on the tour loved her as we all talked and got along as if we all knew each other for years.
John the bus driver was top notched too......very good driver and was very punctual for everything.
If I was guarenteed to have Carol and John on a Chicago tour I wouldnt hesitate to be on the bus.
My wife and I were celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary and the minute my wife told Carol she made sure she was part of our celebration with a gift. Carol is a big plus to your companies success.

Our trip to New York was much more than we expected! Our tour director Pam was amazing, full of information and energy. Our driver was wonderful, he drove us there safely and navigated that big bus expertly through those New York streets.
We loved the guided tours both by Pam and the New York tour director was also amazing and knowledgeable.
As a first time visitor to New York, this tour was just the thing to take it all in for the first time. I definitely will want to return to New York, and would definitely recommend this tour company to my friends.

They made the trip stress free for us!! I can't imagine what they could have done to make the trip any better! They were unfailingly caring and helpful.
The accommodations in New Jersey were very comfortable.

I would be interested in your New York and Chicago tours. What is the price for a single person as well as for a couple who wish to go? Do you have group rates for any of the tours?
It would have been appreciated to know in advance about the tips and gratuities needed for the tour guides as this was not known and it would have been helpful to be able to plan budget wise to include these extra expenditures.

Just a note to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to New York with your Company.
The tour guide Pam was excellent, so knowledgeable and helpful and ready to help with any problem,

Greg the driver, was excellent also, and managed to get us all to the attractions and back to our hotel
as well and home safely to Canada.

We just got back from the New York July 8-11 trip. My friend and I had a wonderful time.
Our tour guide Pam is one great guide, sometimes I think she read our minds about something we just saw, she gave us a lot more information about many things in N.Y. than if we had toured alone, also she was so likeable, even seeing to a problem in our room, she didn't rest until it was done.
Greg is one heck of a great driver, he could manage that bus all through VERY busy streets. He was a very likeable person also.
The bus was very comfortable and the temperature in the bus was just right for me. (Outside is was about 90 .
The hotel was lovely & quite picturesque. I loved it.

Thank you for the wonderful time during the Chicago trip. It was really a comfortable travel, with great service and a safe drive. I would recommend the trip to any busy person as an escape from the daily routine. There is a lot to see in a very short amount of time, but due to the well organized and professional staff you have the chance to get a lot of information and also lots of fun during the trip.
The travel is very comfortable, with the necessary stops for relaxation, meals and shopping. In the city of Chicago you have a local guide that will answer all you questions.
The accommodation is in a modern, pretty new hotel in the suburbs of Chicago.
I would like to join the New York trip too and so far I highly recommend anyone, take a break and have a safe trip to Chicago with Comfort Travel. The name of the company is well deserved, the staff is doing his best to provide the comfort of the group.

Bus Tour to New York City, 24/6/10- 27/6/10.
My wife and I took the above tour to New York, we throughly enjoyed what was our first ever coach tour. Allthough the pace was hectic, without such a tour we would not have seen so many parts of New York had we had to do it on our own.
The driver we had Wayne could not have been better,a gentleman who kept us advised on many aspects of the tour and his driving ability around such a busy city was excellent. We would both travel again anytime with Wayne as our driver.
The tour guide, Suzanne Marchington was excellent in every thing she did, keeping us occupied on the long trip and looking after us at all times. She has to be admired as to how she managed to keep us all together and never loosing anybody.Again,with Suzanne as tour guide, we would gladly travel with her on any tour.
The New York guide we had, Harvey, again was excellent, never stopping in his descrption of all that we saw and he also had a sense of humour which kept us amused and did not make the tour boring.
We enjoyed the first day's free time to do our own thing but it must be said that on the second day, the time dragged on a bit for us as we are two senior ctizens and could not venture too far from the pick up place on our first trip to the city. To be fair to the younger members of the tour, this free time would be okay for them to do their own thing.
The stop at South St. Seaport for lunch etc. was not in our opinion the best place to stop, it being very crowded and a saturday and made it hard to find a place to sit to eat our lunch. It would be better if more time could have been spent at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Isle and not so much free time!!
Having said all the above, we would certainly in the future take a tour with Comfort Travel again so keep up the good work.

I had 3 weeks vacation to Toronto from Norway. I did find Comfort Travel in internet and bought a tur from tronto to New york (jun 24.-27.)
I have had my best experience with comfort travel. First of all Susan (as a group leader) was a wonderful and caring person. With her beautiful smiles , good humour, caring and all funny jokes she was telling us.
And our very good driver who was a gentleman and his gentle driving in New York as a Canadian good driver. And very good local guide in New York. The hotel was very good too.
I Have recommended to all my Friends in Toronto. I am sure my next time tour from Toronto is going to be with you.
I do recommend everyone to experience New York with Comfort travel and never alone, because lots of thing you can miss without good guide.

We took the July 1-4 2010 Bus tour to New York. My Wife & I had a lot of fun. Our Driver WAYNE was superb especially squeezing the Bus to New York street. Marilyn had to make a "Voice" adjustment because of busted micropone but she made up for it by her DVD movies especially the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. The New York tour guide (forgot his name) was a big help, superb again w/o micropone.The Hotel was wonderful, breakfast was yummy. We will recommend your company to our friends for sure.

We, Rick and Patty, recently took the Comfort Tour Bus to NYC July 1-4th. We had a terrific time while in NYC and appreciated the courteousness and knowledge of both Jake our bus driver and tour guide Oksana. They were both very professional and went out of their way to make our tour enjoyable and informative. Our NYC tour guide Mark was terrific! He spent quite a bit of time with us touring all of the famous sites as well as a very informative history of this beautiful City. I have to add that during our spare time we had a chance to visit with my niece who lives and works in Manhattan. Unfortunately, through no fault to Comfort Tours we had very unpleasant wait times, over two hours, at the border both ways. We were also quite fortunate to have awesome weather during our stay! We are both looking forward to developing our pictures of this wonderful and bustling city!

Wayne our driver was truly professional and went that "extra mile" to meet all our needs from the moment we boarded your modern bus until we were safely home. The Hyatt in New Brunswick, New Jersey offered spacious comfortable accommodations and delicious buffet breakfasts. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Chicago. The tour guide was Eliane and the bus driver John both did a wonderful job. Eliane kept us busy with games & showed us a few movies. We loved going shopping & the free time was just right.
The trip was well worth it and since we always wanted to see Chicago ( which also happens to be Obama town ) we brought back wonderful memories with us. The people on our bus

Dear Comfort Travel,
We have recently returned from our bus tour to Chicago. We had a wonderful time throughout our experience. This is our 2nd bus tour with Comfort Travel.
Natasha, our Tour Guide, was terrific. She was attentive to detail, interacted with all of the passengers, & was ready to advocate on our behalf whenever an issue developed. She has a great sense of humour, & also had admirable values. She feels that it is important to learn something about places we visit, & had prepared a quiz on the last day to help us test our knowledge. She was helpful about answering questions about other destinations, eg, Russia.
Keith, our driver, did an excellent job of avoiding as many traffic jams as possible. We always felt confident with both his driving & navigating.
Our Hotel was excellent except for breakfast on the 1st day. There were few food choices. After the 1st day, fresh fruit & cold cereal was added to the menu. This was an improvement.
The Chicago Tours were interesting and informative. I liked all of them. A few suggestions: less time at the Pier, include time for a visit at 1 Museum. I really like the routine of having tours until 3 pm, & then having free time until the evening.
I hope that you will soon be able to offer bus trips & tours to Boston.

My daughter and really enjoyed our recent trip to New York City with Confort Tours. Our tour guide, Pam, was professional and fun, and kept us informed and entertained throughout the entire excursion. We found that we were a bit rushed on our tour with the guide from New York - but I guess we had to cover a lot of territory in a short time - sometimes difficult for seniors and those with difficulty walking such as myself. Ken, the bus driver was excellent - and he and Pam make a good team. I would have liked to linger a couple of days longer to tour more of the sites on a more leisurely basis. Thanks again for a wonderful experience in a great city!

This was my first bus tour and I had virtually no idea what to expect particularly the long bus trip to and from destination. You must appreciate that I was travelling alone as I was recently a widower; sharing a voyage with a partner is much more fulfilling. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the performance of the Tour guide "Pam" ; her professionalism, stories, games and movies kept us entertained I have not laughed so much in years. this made what could have been a boring and dull voyage most enjoyable.
The tour through Manhattan, Liberty & Ellis Islands were nicely coordinated the bus driver "Ken" is to be commended for his abilities and arrival at pick-up points.
Unfortunately I do not have any photos as I did not bring a camera; photos were available at all venues.

Hi there! Just returned from a great time in New York. Our group had Pam and Ken. What a great crew you have working for you. The only complaint I and my daughter had was the uncomfortable bus seats. The head rests are in the wrong place for us seeing we are 5 ft. tall. Other than that the trip was great. We had time to do the things that we wanted to do and saw the things that we wanted to see. I have nothing but positive comments to say about the trip that I just finished to New York City. The tour guide (Pam) did a really great job, she was informative, very helpful and did a really great job at entertaining the group on the long bus ride. I enjoyed how the tour was set up as far as what sights were seen on which day of the tour. I would have preferred to stay at a hotel in NYC but I am sure to keep the costs down the hotel that was chosen was nice and not too far away. I was pleased to see a good size breakfast buffet included in the cost.
Ken the bus driver was courteous and friendly, did a great job looking after the passangers and did a great job driving.

Just a short e-mail to let you know we had the best time on your tour to New York. We went from May 13 to 16th. Wayne was our driver and he was outstanding. So helpful everytime we got on and off the bus. I was with a lady in a wheel chair and he couldn't have been more helpful. Oksana was our Tour Director and she was just the best. We recently took your bus tour to New York City on May 24th week-end. We really enjoyed it. Our host Eliane Deiettre and driver Wayne were amazing. Eliane is a real gem and we received so much information. A real delight. Wayne is an amazing driver and kept us all safe no matter how much crazy traffic in that city. They both went out of their way to please.

My mother and I chose Comfort Travel bus tour to New York for our very first visit to the United States. It turned out to be a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Our tour guide, Eliane Delettre, was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, with a great sense of humour. She kept us entertained the whole way to New York and back. As Eliane put it "every tour guide brings a unique view of the tourist destination and points out particular details about the new place and its people” and her view was fascinating and distinctive. Our bus driver, Wayne, did an incredible job driving through busy Manhattan areas and got us home safely. He was flexible and friendly, and went out of his way to let us enjoy the night view and take photos of the Times Square and Manhattan. This trip was a great experience and we will not hesitate to go on another bus tour with Comfort Travel.

Keith is a great driver, very steady on the road and a backing the bus up artist. He was always a gentleman easy going and well mannered. Nice and easy to talk to, even listened to passenger input. (That's me.)
Pam did a very good job in looking after our interests at the hotel, keeping us informed and entertained on the bus. (Maybe a passenger might like to share a funny story with the other passengers.)
I've never been to Chicago before. What a great clean city. With the addition of the local guide, Russ, I don't think others will see some of the things we saw when they go. What a great trip.
Suggestions: (Bearing in mind I don't know your business as well as you do.)
Yes we would consider going again, possibly to New York or Boston with Pam and Keith at the helm.

Hi! Our Chicago tour was agreat success. Pam is avery nice and competent tour director. She handled situations very sensibly and always gave us clear instructions. Our driver Keith drove us through Chicago like a pro and we also appreciated having a step on guide to give us a real feel of the city. The Westin Hotel was great. Just a few lines to let you know that my wife, grandson and i really enjoyed out two days in Manhattan. I still don't believe that so much sightseeing could have been crammed into a 48 hour period. The coach was very comfortable and was driven by the excellent Greg who side stepped traffic jams with great skill. Our Comfort Travel hostess was Oksana who proved to be a person of great knowledge, patience and humor. Our thanks to them both for enhancing a great experience.
The choice of hotel, the New Jersey Hyatt was also 1st class and our all too brief overnight rests were very comfortable. We left each morning fortified by a very nice buffet breakfast and we certainly needed the energy.
We would travel with you again and will (already have in fact) recommend you to our friends.

Hello,
We were on the inaugural Chicago bus trip from May 21-24. Pam was a great Tour Director and she kept us entertained with her jokes, puzzles, raffles, and movies. You can tell that she has a lot of experience. Keith, aka "Kenny", :-) was always on time and was able to maneuver through the heavy downpour we experienced on the first day, and some of the narrow streets of Chicago. Russell the Tour Guide knows the city well, but he could add some humour to his commentaries. The architectural cruise was unique and educational. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Shedd Aquarium and the water taxi ride and we suggest that this should be included in future trips.
The only disappointment was breakfast offered at the hotel. There was limited variety and not very healthy especially for those on special diets.
Overall, the trip was a lot of fun and very informative. We found Chicago to be clean, modern, and artsy, with lots of shopping opportunities and would love to visit again. Kudos to everyone involved in this trip!!!

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed this past weekend's tour to Chicago. Pam was a great tour director - we loved the fact we got to see so much of the city and also had ample free time to explore on our own. Pam made the long bus ride to and from Chicago very entertaining and fun (and she tells great jokes!). Keith our driver was also amazing at manouvering that big bus into small spaces. They were both very patient, calm and kind and we appreciate all their work over the 4 days - we especially appreciate all the "behind the scenes" work it must take to ensure such a relaxing and enjoyable trip. Thanks to both of them.
We enjoyed also the stop at The Ford Museum in Michegan - so much more than a car museum!!

Hi - hostess (Pam) was excellent - perfect tour guide. The bus driver Keith was also excellent, very skilled. I used your tour to New York last year and the hostess was young and inexperienced. Pam was wonderful - lots of experience. I did prefer and really enjoyed the breakfast in New York - it was delicious. The Westin is an upscale hotel - I was terribly disappointed with the breakfast. And don't go to the Mexican museum - too far and content basic.
Everything else was perhaps the way it should be.
I would recommend this tour.

This was our first bus tour, and so we didn't know what to expect, but thought we'd give it a try. We were delighted with it, due in large part to the excellent organisation and the skills of Oksana and Wayne . They were superb, both very knowledgeable and helpful at all times, extremely upbeat, patient, unflappable, and left nothing undone in their efforts to make our trip memorable.We do intend to take the Chicago tour, possibly this Fall.

My mother and I recently returned from a bus tour to New York City (April 22-25). We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who is looking to see all the sights of NY. We saw everything we could have wanted to see and plus some. Our tour guide, Marilyn, and bus driver, Wayne, made sure that we all had an experience of a life time. The Hyatt hotel that we stayed at in New Brunswick, NJ was amazing. The service was great and breakfast every morning was a great touch. The only suggestion that we have is for the pick up and drop off destinations to be at places where there is a parking lot to leave our cars, maybe a car pool lot, perhaps?
All in all, we had an experience that will never forget. Thanks!!!

We had the most wonderful time in New York. The Hotel was top notch, all the excursions were excellently planned out and very well organized. The weather was awesome for this time of year and our Tour Director (Pam) was amazing. She kept everybody well informed and we had lots of fun on the bus which made the long drive go by a lot quicker. The bus ride was a bit jerky at times and I think there was a problem with the TV volume, too loud at the back and not loud enough at the front.

My 1st trip to NYC with Pam & Ken ( Dec 17-20) was truly memorable & impressive!
Returning from a trip to the Greek Islands & Turkey, the 4 days spent in NYC surpassed this trip in terms of action! Pam is truly one of the most personable tour directors that I've experienced- easy going, patient, a real people person with lots of imagination with games, trivia to keep us entertained during our drive down. We all felt better than safe with Ken driving us to and from NYC; anyone who can maneuvers around Manhattan in a large vehicle
Not to have expectations is how I like to travel but this entire experience ( from the drive to the hotel to the tours ) surpass any expectations one had. I have recommended your Travel Agency & your tours to my work colleagues as they could not believe the value received for the packages in addition to the level of service provided by Pam & Ken.
My background in Retail Management/Corporate Communications makes one hard to impress as our business is all about trends, change & service but what Comfort Travel provided including Pam & Ken really impressed. Absolutely, when one travels with a busload of strangers, not everything will suit everyone's cup of tea but that is to be expected as we all adapt to quirks. Just a hi, and comments on our trip tours to New York City on Dec 29-01Jan.
It was a great introduction to New York. Our guide Marilyn, bus driver John, and NYC guide Mark, with all of their different bits of information made this a wonderful experience. Marilyn filled in the gaps of time during the bus ride and some commentary on NY. Mark was great with his information on NYC and the local culture, and where to find a great place to eat. John “city driving” is your thing, maneuvering the way you did; you also made our trip a total success with the comment of seeing the ball drop the night before to avoid the crush of New Years Eve. We did venture out to the area (Time Square) on New Years Eve but just barely avoided a penning. LOL This Comfort Travel experience was well worth it for a first time to NYC.

My only suggestion is that seeing that the tour ended usually around 4pm and pickup at Macy’s was 8pm (our free time) – perhaps a later pickup would have been nice.

I would like to thank Comfort Travel for an amazing trip to New York. This was my first experience going to New York and also traveling on bus tour. I could not have felt anymore welcome, safe and comfortable than I did during this trip.
The tour director Christine and the bus driver John were fantastic. you could not have any better staff than the two of them. Christine was both knowledgeable and entertaining. she kept us busy on board the bus with games, songs, informative movies and funny stories. while Christine dealt with buying tickets or other necessities for the trip, John took over and told us some stories and entertained us with trivia questions. she gave us tips on how to get around Manhattan, where to find the best deals and the cheapest places to eat.
The hotel and service was fabulous. we had very clean, large rooms and the service was great. the people at the front desk were very kind, offering advice, help and a smile when you needed it. the hotel was also conveniently located close to the train station, which made it very easy to get back to the hotel on your own. The breakfast was great and their was allot of variety to choose from.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. there was never a second where I was bored. the entire tour was organized and prompt in positive way that allowed us to see and do what we wanted to and still have time to explore other places.
I enjoyed myself immensely and would be interested in the Chicago trip in the new year. I have also highly recommended this trip to many of my friends, colleagues and family members.

We just wanted to say "thank you" to Comfort Tours firstly for re-scheduling our trip without cost, and secondly for the wonderful experience in New York City. Our tour bus driver (John) was one of the best drivers ever, so much patience. Driving in New York City is a feat in itself, let alone driving a bus! Our tour guide (Christine) was fantastic! She was more than just a tour guide. She was always there to answer our questions, made sure that everyone was clear on where to meet, gave us great shopping hints and also provided lots of entertainment on the bus when we had to wait three hours to cross the border. Kudos to both John and Christine!!!
This was our first bus trip and we both want to say that we had a great time. We most certainly will consider using Comfort Tours again, maybe next year to Chicago!

We just came back from the New York bus tour of October 15 2009. We would like to provide you with some feedback. At first, we were quite apprehensive; we are veteran travelers but never travelled via bus tour before. We were very pleasantly surprised, this tour of New York certainly did not disappoint!
The tour was excellent....a great way to see all the main sights of NY for the first time, good value.
The Heldrich hotel in Jersey, rooms were excellent, bed very comfortable/clean, the buffet breakfasts were good, staff very friendly, surprised to see just a 2 slice toaster to service this facility, always a line, suggest hotel may want to update this appliance, bit of an embarrassment.
The icing on this cake is Tour Director Christine and John, both excellent ambassadors for Comfort travel.
Christine did a superb job as our tour guide. She went above and beyond in adding value, adding fun and handling delicate housekeeping a very professional/sensible fashion. Several hours on the road but never a dull moment, Christine made everything seem so seamless...movies, games, puzzles, jokes, laughter, just a great deal of fun not to mention her great NYC tips. She was very diligent in keeping us on schedule, always kept us ahead of the curve, maximizing our time effectively to enjoy more of the sights, free time and saving money. This lovely lady has definitely raised the bar for all those other tour guides out there! Can't forget John, a real gentleman, very attentive, a very safety conscience driver who can make a bus dance in the middle of Manhattan!

was on the Sept 24 NYC trip, it was my first bus tour with my mom and my aunt and my cousin, and it was an amazing experience. The itinerary was excellent. I got to see all the sites I wanted to see, with the unexpected trip to St. Pauls. Christine was very informative and kept us entertained and it was fun how she got everyone to participate with the games. John, was an excellent driver and I loved that they both had a good sense of humour throughout the entire trip.
I recommend this tour to anyone, it was an amazing experience for the first time in NYC, not beginning to imagine what to expect. I talk about my pleasant experience to everyone along with the pictures to show.
I loved the tips that Christine gave us along the way. The recommendations where to go and eat were excellent. I will be definitely be going back!

My wife and I took your bus tour to New York on September 24, 2009. We thought it was a blast. Lots of fun and too much to do. From start to finish the trip was very well organized, Christine Gunter was our guide and John was our driver.
Christine was a hoot, keeping us entertained with games, puzzles, movies, and her jokes and stories were priceless. She is going to write a book about some of her experiences that should be interesting reading. Her endless tips on shopping, eating or getting to the front of the line gave us a head start on every one.
John was an awesome driver and new all the tricks driving around New York. His driving made the trip a pleasure.
This was our first bus tour with Comfort Travel and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel in New Jersey was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was terrific.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our recent trip to New York. We started out planning on the trip as just a couple, but were pleasantly surprised to have our 2 daughters attend, (and their boyfriends as well). I have to admit we were a little skeptical of the trip in regards to the value price, and just the 3 night stay. We had looked at these trips before, and found them just too expensive for us. I can say we were totally pleased with the trip and highly recommend to others. The bus ride there and back was always broken up with little rest stops at just the right time. The fact that we had some guided tour time and some free time worked very nice, as well as the 2 options for getting back to the hotel. You get so much more out of a trip like this when you have a tour guide. Our guide Christine and bus driver John made the difference on this trip. Always obliging to answer questions and do the little extras to help us along the way. And they did this over and over again. We also stayed at a beautiful hotel.
Overall, a wonderful family vacation we will treasure for many years.

Just wanted to thank Comfort Travel for the excellent bus trip to New York City on the August long weekend. My daughter Erin is getting married in September and 15 of us - Erin's family and friends decided to do a "Bachelorette Party Trip" to New York City. It was a long drive down what with all the delays in Pennsylvania with the construction but we got there. This trip is a great way to see New York for the first time. It was very well organized and very enjoyable.
First of all I want to thank Al for all his help and patience in getting this trip organized and booked. He was a big help to me trying to get such a large group booked to go on it. Christine is such a sweetheart and an excellent tour guide and her helper Bob Eh! We knew where to find her thanks to Bob Eh! Thanks also Christine for your selection of movies and helping with the Bachelorette theme with some of your selections. Your thoughfulness was certainly appreciated. Keith, what can we say about Keith. What an awesome bus driver. I don't know how he does it getting that huge bus through all the New York traffic. He works miracles driving that bus. The rest of the passengers were a good group of people to travel with also. The hotel was excellent, great buffet breakfast every morning and the beds were so comfortable.
We all had such a great time and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to see New York City and what it has to offer.
I would not hesitate to go on another trip with Comfort Travel.

I am emailing to submit a comment about a comfort travel tour I have just completed. I was on the New York tour, Denny's bus 2300 (group C) with Marilyn and Ken.
First of all, Marilyn had been very fun and educational. There were times when she made us laugh and others when she would give us puzzles or quizzes (such as "Why is New York called The Big Apple?" as well as 'Thoughts of the Day'. She also had a good selection of movies to show us on the bus which made the time go by very fast and we were in New Jersey in no time!
Ken on the other hand is an EXCELLENT driver. Not many people have the skill to maneuver through Manhattan in a coach bus--often times when it seemed like there was barely any room, but not for Ken! He drove us safely to each destination and I could not ask for anyone else!

The three of us that traveled to New York from June 25th to 28th had a blast! We will definitely go again, in fact we are already talking about going to Montreal and even doing New York City again. Christine Gunther was awesome! She is such a professional, but still adding her own charm, personality and attention to detail. I loved how she had games to play throughout the journey and little contests such as guess the mileage. Everyone felt a part of the trip and we became a fun group by the end of the journey. Thank you. My mother, who is visiting from the U.K., and I really enjoyed the trip. It was a little hectic but a great way to see three cities in three days. Our bus driver Jim and tour coordinator Paul Hagarty were always very pleasant and helpful. The city tour personnel were also very nice. The Hotel was very nice, no problems at all - great to have the wake-up call arranged for us. Rest stops were timed well and I don't think anyone had to use the emergency facilities on the bus. Weather could have co-operated a little more but what can you do.
All in all I would definitely recommend Comfort Tours.

We went as a group of four and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Some persons weren't convinced this was the best way to go and wanted us to drive and do our own thing. However, by the end of the trip they were convinced that it was the best way. The comments are as follows:
A stop in old Montreal to see some of the street art would've been good. However, we also appreciate that it was a long and packed trip.
The driver was calm, focused and his attention to the road and keeping us safe was amazing. We all appreciated THAT.
The trip was well-organised, with many details attended to. However, it was a little odd to notice that our group as well as another group were separated by so many rooms and floors rather than closer together. We specifically had made the request and one would've thought that was something the hotel would have tried to accommodate. Many of us on the bus were in rooms on the same floor and beside each other. However, two rooms booked as a group were far away.
The guide was very good and complemented the driver. The guides picked up in the cities were good and knowledgeable. I noted that some people were a bit offended by the second guide's (Bryan) sense of humour in Quebec. They felt he was a bit condescending, but I don't think that all people will be pleased all the time.
I and others found the person who greeted us at the front desk in the hotel rather rude and unhelpful. Some persons I know ran out of toilet paper in their room - which was a bit bizarre. The rooms were, however generally okay, though I sense a little bit of slippage on maintenance. As someone who's worked in the travel industry myself and who worked in the hotel sector, I found it hard to believe the hotel was in fact a four star. They did not live up to their rating.
The tours are good and we were pleasant surprised, given the inclement weather and the possibility for a lousy day. The flexibility of the driver, guides, etc really helped us to feel at home and comfortable. The movies on the bus were a fantastic idea. Well done!
We will definitely use Comfort Travel again, and I just wish that you did more tours to more areas.
One thing of note... It would be nice if you gave somewhat of an incentive to repeat customers. I would love to convince the group to do the NY tour, but I know that in a recession, it might be a little difficult, though I'm sure I could definitely say let's do a trip at least once every year in summer! Good luck with your tours. We'll see you again!

This is to place on record how much my partner and I enjoyed the tour of Montreal,Quebec and Ottawa this weekend. I would like to make special mention of Paul the main guide who couldn't have been more efficient and helpful in every respect - likewise John the driver who did a very good job. Then there was Tammy - Paul's assistant in training who couldn't have been nicer and I am sure will make a very good guide. And of course the 3 guides who imparted so much information in each city we visited - they couldn't have been more knowledgeable. All in all I have nothing but praise for your company - everything ran like clockwork - due mainly to Paul and I will certainly recommend anyone planning an out of town trip. Heather was polite, entertaining, fun, efficient, superb at managing crisis. She exceeded in guiding the group to achieve agreements despite of differences in age, interests and backgrounds. She made everyone feel that the tour was her home and she was the best host ever . She was amazing !!!

t was great,especially with senior people,they were very sweet. Paul is a great person and funny too,time went very fast. the driver was co-operative too. Tourist guide were also very intelligent and experienced. Rest it was a great tour and we were very satisfied with everything.

Bus Tour to N.Y April 10-13
The above trip taken by me and my wife, Margaret, was enjoyable and it was enhanced in no small measure by Paul, our travel guide and Wayne the coach driver-his skill and expertise left one feeling relaxed and at ease. Paul's guidance and insight were reassuring, with his witty remarks keeping all the passengers in good humour.I thought his quip about the food at Ellis Island was so apt," the food is not bad, just terrible." Kudos to both of them for turning what would have probably been a nice trip, regardless, into a wonderful experience.
We moved to beautiful Brampton from wonderful Winnipeg 10 years ago and always wanted to go visit New York City and Montreal, but we were never sure what would the best way to go about it and procrastinated up to now. Hi,
I was on the bus tour to New York (Dec 3-6) and Ken and Pam were great! We saw all the major land marks, learned quite a bit about the history, great hotel and breakfast. My only suggestion is that seeing that the tour ended usually around 4pm and pickup at Macy’s was 8pm (our free time) – perhaps a later pickup would have been nice.
